Put your poetry here. I apologize if this is the wrong place for it.Here's a poem for you. Don't use it as a model though. Death of the Silent
Drowning in my solitude No laughter in my lonliness Unamused by thoughts That have long gone dry
Gasping for breath But no one hears my silent cries So I suffer alone With nothing but my mocking pride
Darkness grows on the unknown I can't remember anything Tears streak across the sky And the darkness consumes me.

I don't have a poem at the moment but I was wondering if we can also post song lyrics here

Of course you can. Most songs are poetry in themselves, except rap, techno, repetitive songs and ones that are stupid or have no literal meaning. Or anything LB would like. Post your poems here. Including songs. Luv, LadyVampire

*cought* My seconds grow colder as I lay here on the floor A shattered body with crimson tears and nothing more As my eyes glaze over a last memory flashes by Of how I came to this point where I am to die
A girl sitting in her room with blinds shut tight Nothing to hold her and keep her warm in the night She sits there cross legged with her hair in her face Shivering and looking confused at her scars of lace
Tears of black flow from her blood shot eyes In front of her lay notes filled with sad good byes Fresh blood drops prickle the floor with deep red Sad drawings on paper of broken hearts laying dead
A razor still shining with a new crimson glow Papers filled with her last thoughts as she lets go Music playing songs of sorrow and suicide days All of these things in front of her now lays
A mirror reflects her shattered life and all inside The last thoughts before this girl soon died Coming back now to where I finally lay This is the memory of the end of my final day

This is a poem I did recently. I call it War:
As I look into your eyes, grief hits me like a dart I'm sorry for how soon after our meeting we must part. I knew you only for a minute, But in that time I knew you well. Then my sword passed through your chest And sent you on your way to Hell. Its not something that I'm proud of But nations go to war All I can do is pray That someday we'll fight no more. 'Til that day though, I will battle on For my love for my homeland Will live on long after I'm gone. It's a shame we had to meet this way And part in such a manner But I'll keep killing men like you Until your country flies my banner.

I'm so glad you guys are taking my thread seriously and putting qualitative and beautiful poems here. I luv you! Here's a song for you. Simple and Clean You're giving me, too many things, lately, you're all that I need. That's when you came to me and said: Don't get me wrong I love you, but does that mean I have to meet your father. When we are older we'll understand what I meant when I said no, I don't think life is quite that simple. When you walk away, you don't hear me say. Please, oh baby, don't go. Simple and Clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight. It's hard to let it go. Hold me, whatever lies beyond this morning, is alittle later on. Regardless of warnings, the future doesn't scare me at all. Nothings like before. Man, I wish I had a boy to sing that to....

The daily things. That keep us all busy are confusing me. That's when you came to me and said:
Wish I could prove I love you, but does that mean I have to walk on water. When we are older you will understand its enough when I say so, and maybe some things are that simple.
*phew* Its been a while since I played Kingdom Hearts, but I remember the song mostly.

*gets a bit emotional* LB, you are my hero! I couldn't fit all of the song... see if anyone can finish this one....
Over the ocean from long, long ago, Comes a voice in the wind of an ancient soul, Storm clouds breakaway, reavealing a shining sun, Pouring out the light that will guide me. How could you see and not believe, There must be a soul....
If you can finish the song, print the lyrics here. *hint, it's from Arc the Lad*

Holding and Trusting. Miracles teach us to believe. It's too pretty for you to know LB. Post your poems here! Love, Lady Vampire

sigh. you're expression is not something that is valued by others. I wrote a poem last night when I was bored and finished watching Queen of the Damned. You see Touching you makes me die inside Just one taste Digs my grave You taste Seeing you makes me want to scream Just one touch Stabs my heart You touch Tasting you makes me live again Just one look kills my soul. Post your poetry here. Luv, LadyVampire

Can I be your hero if I write something here? My relentless passion of you Golden aura, a place of peace A crimson mist of love enshrouds you A longing not forgotten Come my sweet angel Kiss my parted lips Send me into eternity With the touch of a silver wing. Only for you my angel.....

Nice. And no adonis. Here's one that I wrote for someone who has comforted me instead of harrassed me on this site.
For Kanine:
Outside forces attack my soul I lash out with ebony claws But everytime I cut Silver leaks into my heart
But when you hold me The world just goes away And when you kiss my hand My heart is pure again.

Aw Abhorsen edited that part out because he doesn't want to pay child support!! Well, hers another wacky song from the list of songs I actually almost like.
Fithos lusec wecos vinosec Fithos lusec wecos vinosec Fithos lusec wecos vinosec
Excitate vos e somno, liberi mei Cunae non sunt Excitate vos e somno, liberi fatali Somnus non eat.
Surgite Inventite hortum veritatis
Ardente veritate Urite mala mundi Ardente veritate Incendite tenebras mundi
Valete, liberi Diebus fatalibus
Fithos lusec wecos vinosec Fithos lusec wecos vinosec Fithos lusec wecos vinosec Fithos lusec wecos vinosec

You're so weird, but wait you've heard that one before. Here's a vampire poem: Of Heaven
Who are these shades we wait for and believe will come some evening in limousines from Heaven? The rose though it knows is throatless and cannot say. My mortal half laughs. The code and the message are not the same. And what is an angel but a ghost in drag?

*Smiles* Thank you Mistress Vampire.
The fires of war burn in my blood, My weapons are repect and quick wit, Feelings are expressed in rhyme, and Ifind my self assulted by a twit.
Seeking shelter I seek warmth, and find myself in the arms of a Lady Vampire, away from the storm she holds me, her presence lifting me higher.
Destruction follows in my wake, and the fires of war burn in my blood, the world will be given to her, even if I must drag a fool through the mud.

Another vampire poem:
Tell it in rhythmic continuity. Detail by detail the living creatures. Tell it as must, the rhythm solid in the shape. Woman. Arms lifted. Shadow eater.

Obviously no one likes my vampire poetry, so here's one none of you know. And I'm not going to tell you.
Slay the Flesh that is not human Trust to weapons Crude and cruel For, dying on the Verge of Wisdom Tortured Souls may seek the light...
And don't tell me not to post twice because I know already. I just want my thread to get back on it's feet.
